Bangladesh Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has finally back with the bat as he scored a fifty during their second warm up match at BKSP Saturday. This is his first half-century after overcoming the ban.
Mahmudullah XI choose to bat first against Tamim XI and posted a decent total of 223 in 45 overs. Opener Naeem Sheikh and Yasir Ali Rabbi scored 45 runs in the opening stand.
Rabbi made 24 runs off 36 balls and fell into the trap of leg-before with the ball of Mahedi Hasan. After that Shakib came down to bat in the crease. Shakib and Naeem made 50 runs for the second wicket partnership. Naeem returned to the dressing room after being bowled by Mehedi with 50 runs of 68 balls.

Shakib has played a total of 62 balls to make his 52 runs and hit only one four and six each.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 25 runs before being bowled by Rubel Hossain. Besides, Mosaddek Hossain scored 31 and Mehedi Hasan Miraz got 11 runs.
Mahedi Hasan had a decent bowling spell for Tamim XI as he took 2 wickets for 31 runs in 9 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin bowled a little bit costly but he also took 2 wickets. Besides, Mustafizur Rahman, Nasum Ahmed and Rubel hossein both grabbed 1 wicket each.
Mahmudullah's XI team won the first warm-up match by 5 wickets on Thursday.
