Bangladesh to play two-match T20I series against UAE ahead of Pakistan tour

The West Indies have come to Bangladesh without most of their regular players. The Caribbean has suffered several times even after coming to Bangladesh with a full-strength team. However, this time the ODI captain of the team Jason Mohammed is quite optimistic about the youngsters even with the low strength team.
Jason believes these juvenile players will take the opportunity in the absence of veterans. And although the experience of the youngsters is not rich, this captain is relying on their skills. It is also an ideal platform to prove their talents, says the Caribbean leader.
“I wouldn’t say there’s any surprise element. I don’t want to single out anyone. The new guys very highly skilled. Hopefully they can put their hands up, and you can see the good young talent we have in the West Indies.” Jason said at the virtual press conference.
“I won’t say more pressure because they are young guys who are looking to play international cricket. I think it is an ideal opportunity for all of us, to put our hands up and say we are ready for international cricket.” he added.

“I think he is a very good all-round player. Left-arm orthodox. He will be a crucial player. He spins the ball nicely, and has a lovely arm-ball. He is a capable batsman and very good in the field as well. There’s a lot to look forward for, in Akeal Hosein. Hopefully he can come to the party and showcase his talent, and do well.”
Bangladesh and West Indies will lock horn for their first ODI of the three-match series on the 20th later this month at the Sher-e-Bangla International Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
