Team evenly balanced in Bangabandhu T20

Beximco Dhaka surprised all during the Bangabandhu T20 Cup players draft that was hosted in a city hotel w Thursday when they opted for Mushfiqur Rahim despite having the opportunity to have the service of Shakib al Hasan in their team.
It was expected that whoever calls first will take Shakib Al Hasan, who has returned from his one year ban recently but Beximco had other plans in mind.
However Gemcon Khulna did not wanted to seize the chance of having Shakib as they picked him after placed beside Beximco in the calling list. Fortune Barishal picked up the experienced batsman Tamim Iqbal for their team while Gazi Group Chattogram grabbed cutter master Mustafizur Rahman.
It was expected that Mahmudullah will be heading for Minister Rajshahi but the team management opted for all-rounder Saifuddin instead of current national T20 skipper, though he did not have to wait long as he was picked by Gemcon Khulna in the next round.
BCB enlisted 157 cricketers in the draft list and placed them in four A, B, C and D categories.
Players in Grade A that consisted five leading cricketers will earn BDT 15,00,000 while cricketers in Grade B, C, and D will receive BDT 10,00,000, BDT 6,00,000, BDT 4,00,000

Each team will have a maximum of 16 players. Ex-ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has not been included in the draft list as he injured his hamstring, but he will be eligible to play when he gets fit.
