T-Sports earns media rights of Bangabandhu T20

T Sports, the first sports channel in Bangladesh, got the media rights for upcoming Bangabandhu T20 tournament, said officials on Monday.


T- Sports, a sister concern of Basundhara Group, launched the first ever sports channel in the country with an aim to offer its viewers with all kinds of sports in Bangladesh and all over the world.

‘’We are very proud to get the media rights of the Bangabandhu T20. It is a major break for us and we are looking forward to make our presence felt through this tournament as we believe that we can reach to the maximum people considering the popularity of cricket across the country,’’ Tasvir ul Islam, General manager (operation) was quote on Daily Sun Sunday.


‘’We got the all the three rights- DTH, OTT and satellite rights- of the competition and we will be telecasting it exclusively on T Sports,’’ he said.


According to T-Sports officials they will be eyeing to go for other media rights that will be offered by Bangladesh Cricket Board in future as they are well aware it can be a major boost for their channel.
