Bangladesh pace bowler Rubel Hossain said that skipper Mahmudullah motivated him to use his variations in the ongoing BCB President's Cup.
Perhaps the most positive aspect of the ongoing three-team BCB President's Cup is the pace bowlers stepping up and making a huge impact for their sides and Rubel is leading from the front with 10 scalps.
Rubel has been consistent in line and length and their efforts to extract some life from the Mirpur wicket, which has been not so sporting throughout the tournament.

The experienced Rubel certainly stands tall among the lot as he is at the top of the wickets list, having picked up 10 wickets in four games at an economy rate of well below four runs per over, including his brilliant four-wicket haul against Tamim XI yesterday.
The cricketer from Bagerhat tends to hit the deck hard and has tried to get something from the pitch at good pace and a perfect line and length, which has made him a lethal force in this tournament.
The 30-year-old pacer has been instrumental with the new ball and managed to get early breakthroughs for Mahmudullah XI consistently.
‘’I am happy to use the new ball quite well. We did our practice here during the lockdown. Alongside my fitness, I have worked hard on my bowling too. I tried to maintain the proper line and length and that’s how I got the success as well,’’ Rubel said in the post match presentation after their win against Tamim XI in their last game.
“Riyad (Mahmudullah Riyad) helped me a lot. He knew I have a lot of variation and his guidance helped me there as well. He pushed me to do well and I applied it on the field too. My strengths are Yorker and slower during the death overs and I used those only and got succeeded as well,’’ he added.
