MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings have faced another big blow now. Their key all-rounder Dwayne Bravo will not be featured in the playing eleven for the rest of the matches after sustained a groin injury during the game against Delhi Capitals at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The news was confirmed by the CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan while he was speaking to ANI. He also revealed that Bravo will now fly back to home in the next couple of days.

Notably, CSK have been dealing with issues ever since they reached Dubai. At first, their 13 embers got affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including two players, and then their key players – Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh pulled out their names from the league owing to personal issues as well.
"No, Bravo isn't playing any more part this time around and the groin injury has ruled him out. He will be flying back in a day or two," the CEO said.
"Undoubtedly Raina and Harbhajan are both vital cogs in the CSK unit and they were missed. But you have to respect personal decisions and that is how we function irrespective of whether it is a senior or junior player," he further added.
However, with the absence of Bravo, CSK is likely to include last year's purple cap holder, Imran Tahir, into the playing XI for their remaining four games. So far, CSK has been going through tough times as neither Piyush Chawla nor Karn Sharma has left a big impact. Even Ravindra Jadeja too could only claim only four wickets from 10 matches.
CSK will play against Mumbai Indians in their next game on Friday (October 23) at the Sharjah Stadium.
