Former India speedster Irfan Pathan believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) should avoid giving the responsibility of bowling to Shivam Dube at the death overs in their upcoming games in the tournament. In the first game, they registered a 10-run win against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) whereas in the next game, they had to face a crushing 97-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab. And, they won their third game in a thrilling super over against Mumbai Indians at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
"Look, I think they will get better as soon as Chris Morris comes in. I see Morris coming in, (Dale) Steyn going out and they are settled. What I don't want from RCB is Shivam Dube bowling the death overs," revealed Pathan while speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Connected.

"They have a better team, they have better batsmen comparatively. They are not just dependent on AB de Villiers or Virat Kohli. This year they have Aaron Finch as well, (Devdutt) Paddikal started very well," he further added.
According to him, Navdeep Saini should bowl atleast two overs at the death as "he's the guy who can nail those yorkers as well as he can just bluff the batsmen and bowl bouncers at the death as well".
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians could nearly manage the win over Bangalore last night despite losing their first three batsmen within a below per score. It was the youngster Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard who stitched a 119-run fifth-wicket partnership off just 51 balls and leveled the scores in 20 overs where RCB registered a thrilling last ball win
