An iconic all-round in world cricket, Shakib Al Hasan, received the negative result from the first-phase corona test in the United States of America (USA) before returning to the country.
He arrived in Dhaka in the wee hour of Wednesday after a five and half-a-month lull due to the corona-enforced layoff.
Shakib performed another corona test after arriving in Dhaka from where he tested negative for the COVID-19 yet again.

A close source of Shakib confirmed that the negative result has come out of his second test after which he went to the memory-filled Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) in Savar.
The country’s premier all-rounder will remain at quarantine for 14 days in BKSP and do his individual training under the supervisions of his childhood mentors- Nazmul Abideen Fahim and Mohammad Salahuddin.
The 33-year-old all-rounder will be free from his year-long ban, slapped by International Cricket Council (ICC) for not reporting about the approaches of the bookmaker on several occasions in 2018, to return to international cricket on October 29.
Shakib is expected to return to the international arc with Test during the Bangladesh team’s tour to Sri Lanka. If everything is okay, he might play the second Test of the three-match Test series, which is a part of the ICC’s World Test Championship (WTC).
Prior to the Test series, he will prepare himself through an exclusive and individual training at the BKSP corridor, where he spent a lot of time during his studentship.
