Bangladesh pace bowler Rubel Hossain said that he is eyeing to make a comeback in the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka. Rubel, who last played against Pakistan in February, was dropped in the following home series against Zimbabwe.
"I am focusing to make a comeback in the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka," said Rubel on Sunday.

"My goal is to get a chance in the team and if I get a chance, I will try to play well, and do my best. I'm practising accordingly I am working on fitness and bowling while trying to improve my skill set as well," he said.
However, selectors will have some tough time picking up the pace bowlers though they have insisted there will be six pace bowlers in the 22-member squad. There are Abu Jayed, Ebadat Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin, Al Amin Hossain, Rubel Hossain and Shafiul Islam to choose from.
Rubel further added that he had done running during his stay in Bagerhat where he was staying since the outbreak of corona.
"I came to Dhaka three days ago. I mainly worked on fitness with now I am working on my bowling since I couldn’t work with bowling in Bagerhat," said Rubel.
"Since my house is near the river bank I have run a lot in the sand I didn't get a chance to bowl or bat, and it was raining every day," he said.
