Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] is going to resume their High Performance [HP] teams camp in an alternative way as they want to continue it even when there is domestic cricket.
BCB Director, Naimur Rahman said that they are planning to start their HP camp following some various ways.
The camp generally starts at March after announcing the squad, right after the end of Dhaka Premier League. This camp held for three months, where promising and talented youngsters get themselves more specialized.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis every outcome shattered and all sorts of arrangements got distracted. But the BCB Director saying that the board is eyeing this time to fill those issues before the HP teams tour to Sri Lanka in September and holding a series against Ireland in home turf in January.
"This time has to be covered. Moreover, if the game starts, we can run our program even in-between the matches. We will have an alternative plan," Naimur said.
On the other hand, National team chief selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu said that they have formed an HP squad of 26 players. The camp did not start because of the coronavirus. However, HP cricketers will also start training alongside the national team, when the training camp starts. HP will have some cricketers from the Bangladesh Under-19 World Cup winning team.
Simon Helmot was HP's last head coach, who was appointed five years ago in 2015 and resigned from the post in 2019. The BCB did not appoint a new coach after the resignation of this Australian. But according to Naimur Rahman, BCB was looking for a head coach before the pandemic hit the country, but right now seeing the situation they have halted their work and waiting for the situation to become normal and then they will start their further work on it.
"Basically the situation is not normal. We are now putting the HP squad in the software programs that we have. Because even if we appoint a coach, the coach will not come or there is no situation to conduct the practice. Talks also went on about who we will take as the coach. Now everything is halted for the time being. We will work on it again when the situation returns to normal," Naimur added.
