Papon waiting for the end of quarantine for surgery

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon is in quarantine for 14 days at London and waiting to have his surgery done after the isolation period is over.


Papon had left Dhaka for London due to his serious prostate illness. But before getting admitted to the hospital he has to go for a 14-day quarantine. It has been heard that the BCB president boarded for London on June 21and his isolation period will end on July 4.

Due to his absence in front of the media arises a question about him. As a media-friendly person, Papon was last seen in front of the media on May 20 while handing over Tk. 50 lakh BCB grant to the State Minister for Sports for the 501 athletes of the other sports in the country. Basically after then he wasn’t seen anywhere.


He has been suffering a lot in the country due to the prostate problem. It has been known from a close source to the BCB president that Papon was admitted at Apollo Hospital for three times before leaving for London.


The BCB president is now waiting for his quarantine period to end so that he can consult with the doctor in London and get admitted to a hospital where he can have his surgery done there.
