Bangladesh former one day captain Mashrafe Mortaza said that team physio Michael (Henry) little mistake in sending the full email has cost him his dream to play World Cup at his own backyard.
Mashrafe was left out controversially by the selector in 2011 World Cup.
Mortaza along with T20I skipper Mahmudullah Riyad and premier batsman Mushfiqur Rahim joined ODI captain Tamim Iqbal in a live conversation on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday. That incident came up during the discussion.

‘’ I had a conversation with Akram Bhai, when David Young sends the report to our physio Michael Henry, he didn't saw the whole mail. He just saw the headline and submitted it to the selectors.’’ Mashrafe said
‘’When I called the doctor and asked him that had he told that I will not be able to play, as he told me if I want then I can play on my own risk, but I can play. He told me no, I've sent the whole report. Then I asked Henry and he said me check for yourself. Then I checked his mobile that he didn't go for further option. Then said sorry to me’’ said Mashrafee.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was not named in the 15-men squad for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup which held in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.
Mortaza broke down in front of the journalists at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium after the squad was announced.
Mortaza went on to lead Bangladesh in the next two World Cups and led Bangladesh to the quarterfinals in the 2015 edition
