Bangladesh T-20 captain Mahmudullah recalls Tigers heart breaking one-run loss to India in the ICC World T20 with a famous phrase- you burn you learn as the host earned a one-run victory from the jaw of defeat at Bangalore on 2016.
The whole match was defined by the final three deliveries, where Bangladesh failed to score a single run as Hardik Pandya showed no mercy on visitors.
A single run also would have taken the game into the super over but Hardik Pandya took three wickets in the last over, to help India cross the line.

Mahmudullah swings across the line and wanted to finish it with glory, gets it high on the bat and spoons towards deep mid-wicket and Jadeja covers good ground, slides and takes it with both hands that helped the host to come back into the game.
Mahmudullah revealed that he along with all his teammate had cried after the match as they failed to cross the line after coming so close during a live Facebook chat with Cricfreenzy.com on Thursday.
‘’ I will try to put it in the gap and take a two,’’ Mahmudullah said when his attention was drawn about that game asking what would he do now if he goes back into that game.
‘’Because I think that was a great lesson I've learned in my life. I did a horrible mistake. It burns me all the time whenever I think about it. But I think I've learned from that mistake, once I heard that 'you burn you learn'. So, I was burned on that day,’’ he said.
‘’Yes, I've cried, actually we all did when we got back to the dressing room we all cried,’’ he concluded.
