Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo believes that playing without spectators will be the scenario for a few weeks or months after the start of the cricket after the coronavirus pandemic adding that he is ok with it.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many sports have resumed behind closed doors, like other sports cricket is also hoping to be played without spectators after the matches start to be played to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

ICC's member cricket boards are already exploring the option of restarting the sport in empty stadiums. There is also speculation that the fans might be kept away from stadiums in a bid to salvage the T20 World Cup in Australia, which is currently under threat due to the global health crisis.
Domingo in an interview with an English portal said that international cricket might start without spectators for about a few weeks or months and players have to cope with it, though he believes that it's not ideal to play without the crowd as the fans are the important essence of the game.
"Yes, I think playing without crowds is definitely going to be an option when we start international cricket. It's not ideal, the crowd is such an important aspect of the game. Players love to play in front of crowds but I suppose players would rather play than not play, so it's not perfect but we just have to deal with it if that is the case. I'm sure that is going to be the case for the first few weeks or months of cricket," Domingo said.
Domingo is also eager to tour to Sri Lanka in the coming July for the three Tests which are part of the World Test Championship. Though, discussions and further discussions are taking place if the tour is possible to take place on the due time by Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB], where a green signal has already been provided by Sri Lanka Cricket [SLC] earlier.
"Yeah, really looking forward to going to Sri Lanka. It's a great place to tour, great facilities, tough cricket, will be a good challenge for our team against a top Sri Lankan side," he added.
