Mushfiqur bat auction is over

Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim’s bat bidding process comes to end and the winner will be announced on May 15.
Mushfiq put up his historic bat for auction through which he scored country’s first-ever Test double hundred against Sri Lanka in Galle 2013 with an aim to raise funds for coronavirus affected people.

The veteran wicket-keeper batsman comes up on his Twitter account and wrote that the long-awaited bidding process has been closed and one 15 May 9:30 pm through a Facebook live from Sports for life page he will announce who is going to be the winner.
"Hi everyone, the long-awaited auction has just ended. I will be announcing the winner tomorrow, May 15 at 9:30 pm Bangladesh Time. Catch the live at Sports for life Facebook page. See you there," Musfhiq wrote on his Twitter account.
Mushfiq’s management company, Nibco struck a deal with Pickaboo.com, an e-commerce site, where the bat was placed for auction. Picaboo chief executive Morin Talukder said earlier that they got some prominent buyers who are very keen to have the ownership of the bat and they will give the full declaration on 15 May about it.
After handling some contradictory event finally, the bidding process has been called to an end. Apart from Mushfiqur's bat, information about the bat of Mosaddek Hossain's, Akbar Ali's jersey and batting gloves, Naim Sheikh's bat, cap signed by Mashrafe and the bat signed by all the players of World Cup 2011 will also be disclosed at the same time.
