I want to play like AB- Akbar

Bangladesh Under-19 World Cup winning skipper Akbar Ali said that though he does not idolize South African sensation AB De Villiers, but he is the favourite player and want to perform like him.
In a live session through Sports for Life a Facebook page where Akbar Ali and Mushfiqur joined to open the bidding of their memorial for auction. Akbar was asked who he idolizes in his career.

"To be honest I don't idolize anyone like that. But my favourite cricketer is AB De Villiers. I try to play like him. But God knows," Akbar said.
Also, the wicket-keeper batsman of Under-19 said that his big inspiration in a game is that he never wants to lose.
"When I got into the field or a match I always thought that I will not loose. Not only in cricket in other games as well. Even in room cricket, I have always been determined to win. So that never losing could be a big inspiration to me," he said.
In December 2019, Akbar was named as the skipper of Bangladesh's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Under his captaincy, Bangladesh won the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, the first-ever major ICC event title for Bangladesh. In the final, they defeated India by three wickets, via the DLS method and become Under-19 World Champion.
