Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal said that he will bid for Mushfiqur bat that he is expected to put up in auction to raise funds for Coronavirus affected people.

Mushfiqur decided to auction his bat but yet the place and platform is undecided but the wicket keeper batsman insisted that it will be done sooner than later.

Mushfiqur said that everyone should buy it in a high price so that he can help the people who are going through a lot of suffering during this time of crisis.

‘’If it was a bat of another player or a bat of a legend, it would have been sold at a higher price. I would request that do not buy by thinking that it's my bat. Whoever buys it, his whole money will be spent on a noble cause. Whoever buys it should buy the bat with a lot more money. Then I would able to help more people. It’s definitely a special bat to me. This is the first time for me since the digital auction. There is an e-commerce site that is developing it. Within this week definitely, everyone will come to know about it and hope everybody will help me on this noble cause,’’ Mushfiqur told Tamim during a live Instagram session and added that whether the left-handed opener is interested to buy the bat through which he scored the first double hundred for his country against Sri Lanka.

‘’I swear I didn't want to say it publicly but I will bid for it. If it is within my range then I will definitely bid for it. Let's see.
