Bangladesh fielding coach Ryan Cook said that he rates Tigers fielding unit in mid-table considering the world context.
Cook, who joined the Bangladesh team in 2018 after serving as the head coach and high-performance director of Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy in Cape Town, believes that his charges have the potential to raise their bars through consistency.

"In the world context, I would probably rate Bangladesh in mid-table as a fielding unit. Just through the performances that we have put out in last year or so, I think the key lies in more consistency in our performances. We have some games where were exceptional and competed with the top teams in the world and other games where we were not up to the scraps. So the consistency is where we need to focus more attention," said Cook.
Cook also feels that if the players and coaches have the ambition to be the best fielding side then they can surely achieve that but it will surely take time and hard work.
"Certainly, it is the players' and the coach's ambitions to be the best fielding side in the world. We understand that this is going to take time, lots of hard work and commitment from the players, but certainly, the players are willing to make the commitment to take it very seriously," Cook concluded.
