Bangladesh fielding coach Ryan cook is confident World Cup-winning Under-19 cricketers have all the competence to rise as a fielding unit.
In Bangladesh cricket fielding is not the most suitable suit for the senior team as they are not the most agile and like other teams in the world.

Ryan cook stated that under 19 cricketers have all the fielding skills to raise the bar and added that eventually can inspire the senior players to field well for Bangladesh too.
‘’ I think Under-19 players have shown the competence at the World Cup. And certainly, the younger players, who are coming, have shown lots of skill in the space. I am sure these players will keep raising the standard of Bangladeshi fielding,’’ said Cook.
The South African also believe that one needs to have a strong sense of basic to field well in pressure situations so that they do not expose at that moment.
‘’Obviously, you get your confidence through competence. And often guys underestimate the pressure when one is under when fielding. If one doesn't have a strong set of basics this can be exposed under pressure. I think it would be good value to put more emphasis on the younger generation. And younger age groups in Bangladesh. And also to focus on the guys on the national structure as well,’’ he said.
