“I think Narail is doing well, do our Mashrafe wants to say something. Honourable Member of Parliament and our cricket player,” the PM remarked and later Mashrafe took the microphone and expressed his words.
“First of all, in the name of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, I want to thank you for joining us here. I am very new here. My senior leaders are present here - the general secretary of District Awami League and the chairman of Zila Council and also Narail-1 MP Kabirul Haque Mukti, civil sergeant, caretaker, RMO, army commanding officer, commissioner of district and police super,” said Mashrafe.
“I won’t take much time. But still I will mention the activities that the committee have taken from every union. There are 22-23 people in each committee. I hope who really deserve the relief, they will get it. And this is being administrated by the district administrator. The police super is also working hard. I want to thank Bangladesh Police for their contribution. They are working very hard and it’s same in Narail,” he said.
“The Honourable Prime Minister, you will always have the Member of Parliament from Narail-1. You have always looked closely on Narail. You have already sent a letter to improve the infrastructure of Narail Hospital. The work is under process to set up a 250-bed hospital for patients but for now, the construction work has been suspended. If you take steps to set up an ICU here, then we believe we will be able to deal with the crisis,” he said.
“Another thing, I want to mention is that we have been getting 900 kgs rice through dealers, but now it has come down to 300 kgs. Maybe, it could be a technical decision. There are many poor people living here. If you consider the number of people living here, then those will be benefited. And finally I want to thank you for all the efforts,” he said.
The PM assured that it will be met in the coming days and said that they (Mashrafe and Mukti) are doing good jobs at this moment.
