Bangladesh Test opener Sadman Islam said on Tuesday that he is feeling relieved to complete his 14-day quarantine at home.
‘’It’s a huge relief as I am a free man again. Today I had lunch with my family after a long time and it was so special to me. Everyone used to stay away from me during these 14 days,’’ said Sadman.

Opener Sadman along with left-arm pace bowler Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and BCB’s medical unit chief Debashish went on to quarantine since returning from Australia on March 17.
Sadman along with Mrittunjoy went to Australia to have their respective surgeries Debashish accompanied them and since coming back the trio went into quarantine as government made it mandatory for anyone returning from abroad to be in a two-week home quarantine to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
Sadman said that he spend his time reading books and playing games along with watching movies and listening to songs.
‘’It was quiet boring to be honest because never went through this kind of situation in my life,’’ said Sadman.
‘’I downloaded PUBG and spent most of the time playing with and apart from that it was reading books watching movies and listening to songs,’’ he said.
Sadman picked up the wrist injury before his debut Test against West Indies in 2018 but continued playing with some pain but could not do so after the pain became unbearable as he was hurt during the training a session before the Pakistan tour.
