Postponement of Bangladesh second phase tour to Pakistan due to coronavirus pandemic on 16 March will now cost Pakistan nearly about four million US dollar.

Pakistan Cricket Boards Cheif Executive Officer Wasim Khan has confirmed this. Despite the huge loss he believes that the board will be able to recover it soon. According to him, the board will be able to turn around by sponsorship money and selling broadcasting rights.
"We are fortunate that we have just cost in the Bangladesh series. We have lost three-four million dollar because we are not playing in Tests and ODIs. There are two other issues. One is that we have our jersey sponsored already, so we are not harmed here. At the same time we are looking for new sponsors. Secondly our broadcasting rights are coming to an end and Bangladesh series was our last deal with Ten Sports," Wasim Khan said.
Wasim also said that PCB will not suffer a great loss as there is no international series or domestic tournament before the Asia Cup. However, he believes the situation will worsen if the effect of the coronavirus last longer than 12-14 months.
"We are looking for a new contract and we are fortunate that there is no international series or domestic tournament before the Asia Cup and Zimbabwe Series (October). Our economic situation is fine. But like other countries, if this situation continues for the next 12 or 14 months, then we will face real economic challenges. So far we are good enough."
