Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is now planning to postpone the tour of Ireland after the postponement of Pakistan tour. Akram Khan, chairman of the board's cricket operations committee, confirmed this.

Bangladesh are scheduled to play three ODIs in Ireland and then play four Twenty20 in England on this May. But the recent panadamoniac situation in England due to coronavirus, BCB is re-thinking about this series.
Akram Khan said that, "I said at first that we will never decide to endanger the cricketers. If it's necessary then we will take a difficult decision on the tour of Ireland. This problem is not for just us, but for the whole world. So as per the situation, we are ready to do whatever we need to do."
Akram said that BCB is ready to cancel or postpone any series for the sake of cricketers. The former captain assured that no risk would be taken on the lives of the cricketers.
"Pakistan's tour has already been postponed. Domestic cricket is also closed. Hope that the whole world will soon be able to get rid of this grave danger. But if the situation gets worse then we are ready to postpone any series. Because this is the security of the cricketers. We do not want to risk them in any way."
