 Under 19 fast bowler, Avishek Das wickets have helped his team   Old DOHS Sports Club beat legends of Rupogong by 25 runs in their first match of Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division League at Bangladesh Krira Shikha Protisthan 4, Savar.

Old DOHS scored 230 runs in their first innings while legends of Rupgong only managed to score 205 runs.

Avishek Das claimed wickets of the set batsman of Rupgonj to help his side win the match.

Send to bat first OLD DOHS was off to a fabulous start by their opening batsman Anisul Islam Emon and Rakhin Ahmed as they put a century partnership.

They added 106 runs before  Anisul Islam Emon was out for 59 runs in the bowling of Shohag Gazi. Rakhin Ahmed was put for 48 runs.

Under 19-star Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored 35 runs of 35 balls. 

Sohag Gazi took three wickets for legends of Rupgonj.

Rupgonj keeps losing regular wickets when they are chasing the modest total.

Pinak Ghosh scored 53 runs and was the highest scorer for Rupgonj . Sohag Gazi also made valuable contributions with the bat as he scored 29 runs in the end..

Aviskek  Das was later named man of the match.
