Mushfiqur motivates through sincerity- Mahmud

Abahani head coach Khaled Mahmud said on Thursday that they need to have individual performance in order to do well in the Dhaka Premier League.
Abahani, who will be eyeing for a hat-trick championship, is looking forward to Mushfiqur Rahim to come up with that individual brilliance that they feel will be crucial to retain the championship.
‘’We are delighted to have Mushfiqur back in our team. Mushfiqur will lead us from the front. I think his sincerity will motivate every one,’’ said Mahmud.
‘’Individual performance is important. It is important to play as a team,’’ he said.
‘’Individual performance is very important. Last year Soumya’s two innings has helped us to win the championship,’’ he said,
‘’The team is very good. I wanted more good players but I think we have one of the best teams. This is the best Abahani team since I started coaching. There are lot of national team performer in my team. Naim Sheikh, Shanto, Liton Afif, Mushfiq, Mosaddek, Saifuddin, Taijul, Sunny and Biplob everybody is a good performer. Prime bank and Gazi has made good team. I still think that Abahani has good chance,’’ he said.
''We have stated the practice session recently. We will play on the 15 (March) and everybody needs to know each other. We have only three or four player from last year campaign. There is lot of changes in the team and it will take time to gel the team. Individual performance is very important,’’ he said.
