Batting has been the chief force for Bangladesh in also all the formats making wins come easy against a lower ranked Zimbabwe. Going into the series concluder Bangladesh will look to maintain that but will not be carried away with complacency said young spinner Mahedi.

“We are not showing over confidence. One positive thing is that the batsmen who are playing are getting runs. Many are not getting chance of due to batting order. From the ODI you can see from one to five are getting chances to bat,” said Mahedi to the media at team hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday as the team took a day off.

In Tests Bangladesh found one double century, one century and two half centuries. In the three ODIs batsmen were found making records coming from Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das. “Batsmen in the lower order are not even having a chance. They are also willing to get some run. Overall we are not overlooking them. It doesn’t matter if it is Zimbabwe or any other team in T20 cricket momentum can be change at any time. In that case we should play with more cautious and focused in the last match, InShaaAllah we will do like it,” said 25-year-old Mahedi.
