Bangladesh Test skipper Mominul Haque said that they are still undecided about their playing XI against Pakistan for the two-match series opener at Rawalpindi on February 7.
Mominul announcement was quite surprising as head coach Russell Domingo said earlier Bangladesh are likely to give Najmul Hossain Shanto the No 3 spot, with Mominul batting below him to compensate for Mushfiqur Rahim's absence with Saif Hassan to open the batting with Tamim Iqbal. Mithun and Riyad at No 5 and 6, and Liton [Das] probably at No 7 and the way he put it up it looked he had the playing XI under his sleeve, though Mominul differed.

‘’The practice wicket and match wicket might differ so it is difficult to say how it will behave. We have checked the wicket and we will take decision tomorrow morning as we still did not decided[ about the playing XI],’’ said Mominul.
The left-hander said that they are looking forward to adapt with the condition and believe they have the ability to absorb the cold that is prevailing in Pakistan as it appeared to be the only thing they need to absorb at the moment.
‘’You have to adapt with the condition everywhere you go and we are doing the same and I think the condition is good apart from being a bit cold but we can absorb it,’’ said Mominul adding that they yet to decide about their playing XI.
