Afif need to be more consistent- Owais Shah

Rajshahi Royals head coach Owais Shah sees the good future of Bangladesh as he feels that cricketers like Liton Kumar Das and Afif Hossain possess a natural talent.
Bangladesh opener Liton Kumar Das is having a good run in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League so far while Afif had shown a glimpse of his all-round ability as well.
‘’Bangladeshi cricketers are with so much natural talent the future is bright for Bangladesh cricket if a player like Afif can play regular international cricket,’’ Shah told reporters at Chattogram.
Shah added that Afif needs to be more consistent in order to showcase his talent as he feels that the 19-year old only lacking is his consistency.
‘’Afif is a very talented player exceptional fielder and a good cricketer,’’ said Shah.
‘’He can bat he can bowl and he can field all he needs to do is to become consistent and putting the big performance again he got a very good start I would like him to score big runs for the team,’’ he said.
Shah added that he is very happy with the work ethics of Liton and added that he is lucky to have a cricketer of his nature in the team.
‘’He is a very good batsman. For me, Liton knows what he needs to do exactly and he is a very good person to have around,’’ he said.
‘’He is very calm and he practices really hard and he does everything right thing for me. I would like to see Liton score 70 runs and walk off the team every time he bats,’’ he added.
