We will get our new bowling coach before Pakistan tour- Akram Khan

Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Monday that they are hoping to get a new bowling coach for Tigers before the tour of Pakistan.
Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to announce anything official after receiving the reply from the Bangladesh counterpart where BCB stated that they are not willing to play the two-match Test series in Pakistan and only willing to play the three-match T20 series.
The tourists are scheduled to visit Pakistan in January- February for the bilateral series comprising two-match Test and three-match Twenty 20 series.
BCB recently released pace bowling coach Charl Langeveldt from his post following a request from Cricket South Africa (CSA), a media release from BCB confirmed.

The former South African pacer was appointed on a two-year deal as the pace bowling coach on July 27 this year after the end of the World Cup.
He replaced Courtney Walsh, whose contract ended with the World Cup in England this summer.
However, according to BCB officials, the South African communicated that he does not want to continue because he has a good opportunity at home [in South Africa] and wants to work there as he had an offer from the South Africa national team.
As the bowling coach post went vacant, BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan said that they are now preparing a shortlist of the probable who is expected to replace Charl.
‘’We will try our best to get our coach along with us before Pakistan series. I hope we will get one [before that series,’’ Akram Khan told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday.
‘’I just discussed today and made some short list on the board. Their reputation and the statistics are not bad and after including two or three mores, we will try to start working in a week,’’ he said.
‘’As we have around one month left, so we want to confirm everything, within 10-15 days. We will take the decision with some of the board directors,’’ he said,
‘’We have not been able to sit together yet but we have made a short list then we can decide from where we can take,’’ he concluded.
