Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza insisted that the wicket in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League will help the Tigers in the long run.

According to Mashrafee the wickets in Dhaka are quite similar to the strips that are available in international matches, unlike the past where wickets remained largely slow and low.

The wickets are producing runs in the BBPL and the experience pace bowler who is leading Dhaka Platoon in the Twenty 20 tournament that will make the bowlers learn by overcoming different challenges while the batsmen will have more confidence after executing their strokes.

‘’Wicket has been good in this BPL. The games have been good for the wicket. When Bangladesh will be playing international matches at overseas, they will have similar wickets,’’ Mashrafee told reporters at the 

‘’Batsmen will have more confidence if they can play free shots like this. What usually happens in IPL there are many options in bowling but when our bowlers don’t get a preferred wicket, they believe the bowling in a certain way is their strength. But if they bowl in this wicket, they will understand what they have areas to improve,’’ he said.
