I am not focused on scoring 100- Liton

Rajshahi Royals opener Liton Kumar said that they are not taking anything for granted as they prepare to Khulna Tigers in the first game of the second phase at Chattogram on Wednesday.

Royals are leading the points table with four points with the successive win and will be taking on their opponent with high confidence.

‘’What we have done in Dhaka is past and now we are looking forward to playing well against Khulna Tigers as they are a very tough opponent,’’ said Liton.

‘’They have some good batsman in their side like Rille Russo, Mushfiqur Rahim and others and we have to be at our best to achieve success. We are hoping to have a good fight,’’ he said.

Liton, who is among the runs in the BBPL, added that he is happy to contribute and not taking any extra pressure of scoring a hundred.

The top order is doing well and it is a good sign for the team,’’ said Liton.

‘’Please pray that we the top-order batsman can finish the innings and the lower order batsman do not need to bat,’’ he said.

But every day will not be the same. In the previous match I got runs that’s why lower order batsman could not bat.in the next match I could get out quickly and then low order batsman might require to bat,’’ he said.

I always target to play long innings. The T 20 games are like when the target is the big game situation is different and when the target is the small situation is different.

‘’It am not focused on scoring a hundred all I want to do is to contribute for the team success,’’ he concluded.
