Dhaka Platoon head coach Mohammad Salahuddin said that he is confident that skipper Mashrafee bin Mortaza will regain his form by playing matches in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.
Mashrafee played all the three matches but did not look to bowl his best so far in the tournament but according to Salahuddin it is not far when he will return to his best.
Mashrafee is carrying a niggle and that can play a big part behind not performing to the best of his ability, though Salahuddin disagreed.
‘’Mashrafee is always like that,’’ Salahuddin told reporters after the match.
‘’I think he is alright when he is bowling,’’ he said.

‘’I feel that once he gets his rhythm back he will bowl better,’’ he said.
‘’He is having this kind of problem all through the year and it will remain the same way,’’ he
‘’But he will play despite everything,’’ he said.
Dhaka Platoons gave Mashrafe Mortaza a lifeline as they picked up the four-time BPL winner late during the players' draft for the upcoming edition of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League at a city hotel on Sunday (November 17). Mortaza, the current ODI skipper, did not find any takers until the fourth round before Platoon decided to pick him as their second A+ category player after grabbing Tamim Iqbal earlier.
Earlier it was stated that no one could pick two players from the A+ category before BPL draft commissioner Mahbub Anam came up with a special ordinance.
Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe was far from cricket in the aftermath of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup in United Kingdom (UK).
Mashrafee had started individual practice to hone his batting and bowling skills and techniques ahead of the special BPL without franchisee but he suffered a groin injury in the opening day of his individual practice.
Mashrafe received injury on his groin during his batting practice session at the National Cricket Academy of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur Academy on November 17.
There were doubts about his availability from the start of BBPL but he managed to overcome the injury on time and be part of Platoon campaign from the start.
