Rajshahi skipper Andre Russell has won the toss and elected to field first against Dhaka Platoon in the first match of the day at Mirpur Sher- a Bangla stadium.

Dhaka is been captained by Bangladesh one day skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza who will be seen the first time to play after the world cup. Tamim Iqbal is also back playing after missing the India tour for family reasons.

Dhaka platoon looks the strongest side on paper in these years BBPL but Rajshahi also had some match-winner in their squad. Rajshahi skipper Andre Russell and Pakistan all-rounder both  can change the course of any Twenty -20  game in their day

This is a crucial match for both the teams as winning in the first can give them good momentum in the tournament
