Bangladesh off-spinner Alis Al Islam said on Wedneday that he is confident that he can make a comeback in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League with a remodeled action after completing eight months of recovery.
Alis made the headlines on his BPL debut last season when he stunned a big number of spectators in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium by taking four wickets conceding 26 runs with a hat-trick in his debut match.
Two days after picking a hat-trick on his BPL debut, Dhaka Dynamites offspinner Aliss came under the scanner for a suspect bowling action and later it was found out that the 23-year old had a "faulty action."
However he continued to play in the tournament courtesy the rule that states that a player with suspect bowling action can play for next 21 days.

Misery followed Alis everywhere as his stardom was shortlived as he sustained an injury against Sylhet Sixers in the next week ruledf him out from the tournament and put him into a long rehabilitation program.
There were doubts whether he camn play or not firstly due to the long rehabilitation program and secondly because he had to clear him from the suspect bowling action.
‘’I am confident with my bowling action and looking forward to play in the BPL,’’ Alis told Cricfrenzy.
I have given my bowling action test and successfully passed it and that made me eligible to play in the BPL,’’ he said.
Alis added that he was quite confused at times considering the rehabilitation program was quite a long affair and he had to remain patient with every thing.
‘’Yes it was quite long and I had to remain patient throughout the rehabilitation program,’’ said Alis.
BCB bowling action review committee member Nasir Ahmed said that they have checked Alis action and cleared him as they found no problem with it during the test.
‘’He is completely ok[ actionwise] considering the way he bowled,’’ said Naso
