Rangpur Rangers skipper Mohammad Nabi said on Monday that they have got the right mix to go far in the upcoming Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League scheduled to start from December 11.

Rangers will start their campaign against Comilla Warriors in the second game of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

‘’Most of the young talents are there and we have experience overseas players,’’ Nabi told reporters during the jersey unveiling ceremony at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday.

‘’Thanks to the management side for trusting me as the captain for Rangpur Rangers and Inshallah we will try our best to come up with a  winning combination for the tournament,’’ he said.

Nabi said that he is not worried with the environment as he is well aware  of the condition considering he is playing for a long period of time.

‘’It is not new to me in Bangladesh because for last eight to nine years I am playing every year in Bangladesh. All the time I am playing in Dhaka Chittagong and Sylhet everywhere and so I know the condition and everything,’’ he said adding that he is not aware of playing a leg spinner in the playing XI.

BCB had altered their stance regarding the leg spinner in the last minute as now there is no binding that a team will have to play a leg spinner in the playing XI.

‘’I do not know about leg spinner rule. If that was in the rule we will definitely play the leg spinner all the time we will discuss with management side to see what the rule,’’ said Nabi adding that adaption is key to do well in the tournament.

‘’It’s quick learning all the time and as I told before that I know the condition very well and there will be dew and in the latter part on most of the time,’’ said Nabi.

‘’The condition of the pitches on most of the time is changing as playing in first innings and the second innings is always different,’’ he said adding that he is not concerned with the form of Mustafizur.

‘’It is not important that Mustafizur is not on the track as he will come back to track .we will work as a unit and as a team and we will discuss about his problem  and we will make him play every single game and work together,’’ he said.
