Bangladesh coast past Maldives in SA games

Bangladesh began their Under23 campaign on a perfect note as they a comprehensive 109-run win over Maldives in the men’s cricket event at Nepal on Wednesday.
Bangladesh left-arm spinner Tanvir took five wickets to help the bundle out their opponent for 65 runs after they put up 174 runs on board on the back of a combined effort.
Skipper Nazmul Hossain made the highest 49 runs while Soumya Sarkar scored 46 runs and Naim Sheikh scored a brisk 38 runs.

Tanvir, who took 5 wickets for 14 runs, wrecked through the Maldives batting as they seemed clue less against his flight and turn.
Only two Maldives batsman was able to reach double-figure opener Evan scored 12 runs for the Maldive
Maldives ranked 76 in the ICC T20 ranking and the match cleared difference between the two sides.
Tanvir said that he is happy that Bangladesh made a bright start while added that he was trying to maintain good line and length in the turning wicket.
‘’I think we had a perfect start to the match,’’ said Tanvir.
‘’The wicket was turning so I wanted to make sure that I am bowling in the right areas and as I was able to do that I think it brought me the five wickets,’’ he said.
