Chris Gayle to star in BPL

West Indian opener Chris Gayle confirms his participation in the upcoming Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League, announced Chattogram Challengers on Monday.
The announcement cleared all the doubts regarding Gayle participation in the tournament that was raised after he recently said that he wants to take break from cricket and also stated that was quite surprised how his name came player’s draft of the T20 tournament in Bangladesh.
There were media reports that the West Indian was not happy with the remuneration that was offered to him and so wanted to withdraw his name from the tournament.
We are happy to announce that Gayle will play for us,’’ said Challengers managing director KM Rifatuzzaman. He is having some hamstring problem so we will not get him from the beginning but we are hopeful to have him at some point in the tournament,’’ he said.
