Rangpur Rangers are in talks with Ahmed Shehzad after Shai Hope non-availability for the whole BBPL.

Shai Hope was picked up by rangpur in the BBPL draft and plays very well in these conditions but he told the Rangpur management he can only play for one week of the tournament.

Rangpur rangers is trying to make a like to like replacement with Ahmed Shehzad inclusion as both batsmen like to bat the whole innings in the shortest format.

Rangpur Rangers technical director Habibul basher Sumon has told the media they are in talks with Ahmed Shezad and also looking at other options to make the team.

‘’We have not found any big players.. I know we are thinking of Ahmed Shehzad .we have spoken with some cricketers and but still not found one . We have kept our options open. Some big names may also come and play for us ‘’Sumon told the media.

Rangpur builds their team with Bangladesh bowlers and hoping to get quality foreign batsman to make all the runs for them..
