Different teams across format helps Afghans: Rashid

Rashid Khan, the ace leg-spinner said that he is very happy to have specialist players playing for Afghanistan across the format.
Rashid who was appointed skipper for his country after the world cup debacle said he is enjoying to lead the players for each format.

Though he suffered an injury last match but he was in a good mood while talking to the media. He said every player knows their role while playing for a specific format.
Rashid said ‘’ We have a totally different team for T20 and Test match. I thank we have only three players that played the Test matches and the T20 .Nabi, Asghar has played enough cricket. Being an international player you should know how to switch on from T20 to ODI and ODI to Test cricket.”
He said the T20 players have camp back home before coming to play in Bangladesh and it helps them to adjust in the format quickly for practicing in these specific formats.
“Being a captain it makes things easy. It’s good to have different teams in different format. It’s quite good to see from Afghanistan perspective you have totally different teams for each format.”
