Bangladesh Premier League franchise Dhaka Dynamites said on revenue sharing in not possible in this model of Bangladesh Premier League.
Several franchises alleged that Dynamites did not want revenue sharing that they believe was one of the major reasons behind their fall out with BCB as the board decided they not host franchise based BPL in 2019.

‘’I never talked about revenue sharing; I am not supporting the current model either. I don’t know how the model is or how will it work. Let’s say IPL, what happens in IPL. There is sponsorship of one million dollar. Our market is small. If we take one percentage, it comes to 10 billion dollar. And cricket board is taking 10 crore from everyone. Then it becomes 70 crore for BCB. You are investing 15 crore taka including the grounds and other facilities which require more 3-4 crore taka,’’ Dynamites CEO Obaid Nizam told reporters on Sunday.
‘’VIVO, Nissan- do they still sponsor in Bangladesh… they don’t. I know how tough it is. We are running the franchise for four-year, we know how hard it is. They did not even provided 10 thousand taka. They do late. I said, revenue sharing is a point. I should sit with BCB for that. Other franchisees raised question on that. I support it. We also have to understand what they say. When they started BPL, the cost was 8 crore taka. Now that has come down to one and half crore. Now we are regretting,’’ he said.
‘’I am not sure if IPL model is possible in Bangladesh. It is not possible within this time,’’ he said.
