The seventh edition of Bangladesh Premier League will be held on December this year. Although there are some times left but teams have already started to prepare their team for the upcoming BPL season. 

Current Champion Comilla Victorians have caught the first big fish, roping in  Bangladesh Wicket Keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim from Chittagong Vikings. Opener Tamim Iqbal has joined the Khulna Titans. So, the obvious question comes where will the former Khulna skipper Mahmudullah Riad go?  

Tamim will play for Khulna as an icon player which means they have to get rid of their former icon player Mahmudullah. So where does Mahmudullah fit? 

Dhaka Dynamites said Shakib Al Hasan will be their icon player. Rangpur Raiders has Mashrafe Bin Mortaza as their icon. There is another problem, Chittagong Vikings aren’t certain to participate in the upcoming BPL edition. 

If Chittagong Vikings participate in BPL then this team can be the new home for Mahmudullah and if they don’t then there will be six teams. And BPL governing body will be in a spot of bother to find a team for Mahmudullah then.

Will they change their number of icon players or Rajshahi Kings or Sylhet Sixers will be his new home.

Mustafizur Rahman is the icon of Rajshahi Kings and Liton Kumar Das is the icon of Sylhet.
