Bangladesh will lock horns with India in their Eighth World Cup match on Tuesday at Edgbaston in Birmingham, another match which turns out to be ‘do or die’ game for Bangladesh in order to keep their semifinal hope alive.

Bangladesh will feel the pressure ahead of this important encounter as England won against India on Sunday which was huge blow for their semifinal dream. Now, Bangladesh will have to win their remaining two matches against India and Pakistan and pray for a England’s defeat against New Zealand to have any hope to make their way into the semis. On the other hand, India will also want to win this match at any cost to finalize their semifinal spot as they failed to win against England in their last match.

These two neighbor cricketing nations began their rivalry back in 1988 in the Asia Cup. India has dominated Bangladesh throughout the history but in recent years the situation is changing a bit. Now, Bangladesh fight with India toe to toe, that we have seen in the Asia Cup final of 2018 and also in the Nidahas trophy in Sri Lanka. In both of these matches India won the game in the last ball of the match. India vs Bangladesh is not a sure win for India nowadays.
