Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib al Hasan said on Monday that Tigers are not one-man army and they need to put up combined performance to beat their opponent.
Shakib all-round performance are playing a catalyst behind Tigers journey in the World Cup as he is in the top spot in batting with 476 runs, going past David Warner’s 447 and scalped 10 wickets, making him the most valuable players so far.

Even against Afghanistan he came up with a superlative performance- a fifty followed by a five for- to help Bangladesh earn a 62-run win and keep their hope alive in the World Cup.
‘’No, its not that[ we are one-man army],’’ he said.
‘’If you see today’s match, Mushiq’s innings, Riad’s contribution, Tamim’s contribution and also Mosaddek’s contribution. These contributions are very necessary to build an innings like this, in this type of wicket specially, these contributions are very important,’’ he said.
‘’Maybe I am playing extremely well now, but without these contributions, team wont be able to achieve this type of results. Same thing goes to bowling also, if you see Mustafiz and Saifuddin, may be they both got 9-10 wickets in this World Cup. So, I think it’s a big achievement,’’ he said.
‘’We don’t have too much pace, we also don’t have much skills in our bowling. But for their point, they are trying all they can do. These contributions are very necessary to win a match. May be someone will contribute more but these small contributions also help a lot,’’ he added.
