Shakib Al Hasan becomes the second Bangladeshi batsman to score a hundred in the World Cup

With the single down the ground from Jofra Archer’s delivery, Shakib Al Hasan becomes the second Bangladeshi after Mahmudullah Riad to score a hundred in the World Cup. Shakib reached this milestone in 95 balls.
Shakib Al Hasan has performed consistently in the first three matches of this World Cup. Shakib scored two fifties in the previous matches against South Africa and New Zealand. He is currently the top scorer in the World Cup with 239 runs. Shakib has also been useful with the ball for Bangladesh, as he is the most economical bowler of Bangladesh in this World Cup.

Mahmudullah is the first Bangladeshi batsman to score a hundred in the World Cup. He scored 103 runs against England in the 2015 World Cup and later on the tournament he also scored another hundred against New Zealand.
Shakib also reached another milestone today, he is the third all-rounder in the World Cup with 700 plus runs and 25 wickets. Sanath Jayasuriya from Sri Lanka and Steve Waugh from Australia is on the 1st and 2nd spot respectively.
