Mustafizur Rahman returns with injury from the IPL

Bangladesh interim coach Courtney Walsh has revealed that star pacer Mustafizur Rahman has returned from the Indian Premier League with a toe problem. The left-handed pacer was representing Mumbai Indians and played seven matches for his new team to pick seven wickets.
And now, Walsh stated that he will be getting a few days off to recuperate from the injury and return to a 100%. The legendary former West Indian pacer also praised Mustafizur and added that he expected the Cutter Master to do well against Afghanistan should he be fully fit.

“At the moment, unfortunately, he has got a toe problem [which he got] in the IPL. He is not a 100% fit. We will give him a couple of days off because we will like to have him firing when we get to India to play against Afghanistan. So he will have a couple of days off.
“He has improved quite a lot, his strength has come back. He is bowling quick again [but] not up to where we want him to be as yet. I think he is getting there and if he is fully fit in India, I expect him to deliver.”
Bangladesh will play a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in Dehradun. The matches will take place on the 3rd, 5th and 7th, respectively.
