Bangladesh Under-19s produced a comfortable all-round performance to defeat Nepal Under-19s by seven wickets, chasing down a modest target of 131 with ease.

After being asked to bat first, Nepal Under-19s were bowled out for 130 in 31.1 overs.

Their innings never really gained momentum as Bangladesh bowlers struck regularly. Sahil Patel (18) and Niraj Kumar Yadav (14) showed brief resistance at the top, while Abhisekh Tiwari top-scored with 30 and Aashish Luhar added 23.

However, tight bowling and disciplined lines kept Nepal in check.

Md Sobuj was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh, claiming 3 for 27, while Saad Islam and Azizul Hakim took two wickets each. Shahriar Ahmed was particularly economical, finishing with 2 for 10 from 5.1 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh Under-19s made light work of the chase, reaching 135 for 3 in just 24.5 overs. Opener Zawad Abrar anchored the innings with a superb unbeaten 70 off 68 balls, striking seven fours and three sixes.

Kalam Siddiki provided solid support with patient 34, adding a crucial partnership that effectively sealed the match.

Despite losing early wickets, Bangladesh never looked under pressure. Rizan Hossan finished the game in style with an unbeaten 12 off eight balls as the hosts crossed the line comfortably.

For Nepal, Abhisekh Tiwari and Yuvraj Khatri picked up a wicket each, but the total proved too small to defend.
