The incident occurred on Saturday as the England team travelled to Adelaide ahead of the third Ashes Test.
According to Seven, an England security staff member attempted to block a cameraman from filming the squad, leading to a brief exchange that continued through the airport.
Footage of the incident was aired on Seven’s television and social media platforms.
Seven journalist Tom Wilson said the cameraman was filming in a public space, maintained a respectful distance, and followed accepted media practices.
In a statement, Seven confirmed the cameraman was “physically confronted” despite acting professionally, adding that the matter is being handled through appropriate channels.
Cricket Australia, which has instructed media not to interview teams during airport transit, declined to comment. England have also not responded publicly, though Seven is understood to have raised the issue with the touring side.
The incident comes as England return from a short break and prepare for the third Test at Adelaide Oval, where they must win to stay alive in the Ashes after falling 2–0 behind.
