Speaking at the official photo session and trophy unveiling in Dubai, Tamim said the team’s long build-up has put them in a strong position for the tournament.
“Our preparation has been really good—both mentally and physically. We’ve played more than 30 matches, which has helped us gel as a unit,” Tamim noted.
With Bangladesh winning the previous two editions, the young Tigers are eyeing a historic hat-trick. Tamim added that arriving as defending champions naturally elevates the team’s confidence.
“We’ve done the work and everything is on track. Being last year’s champions gives us that extra belief,” he said. “We trust our process and will look to perform our best again.”
Tamim also acknowledged the challenge posed by traditional powerhouses India and Pakistan but insisted that no team is beyond beating.
“India and Pakistan are strong opponents, but in my opinion, no team is unbeatable,” he remarked.
