Zimbabwe announce strong squad for tri-nation series

Zimbabwe Cricket has named a 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 tri-series in Pakistan featuring Sri Lanka, as preparation for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The only change from the recent Afghanistan series is the absence of injured pacer Blessing Muzarabani, replaced by Newman Nyamhuri. Sikandar Raza will lead the side.

Led by captain Sikandar Raza, Zimbabwe will open their campaign against hosts Pakistan in Rawalpindi on 17 November, before facing Sri Lanka at the same venue on 19 November.

The remaining matches will be in Lahore, with the final scheduled for 29 November between the top two teams.
