Ireland selectors have announced two 15-member Ireland Men’s squads for the upcoming November tour of Bangladesh, which will include two Test matches and three T20Is.

Ireland last toured Bangladesh in 2023, a series that featured the historic first-ever Test between the two sides, where Bangladesh claimed victory by seven wickets.

So far, Ireland have played 10 Tests in total, winning each of their last three matches consecutively.

Andrew Balbirnie will captain the side – only seven players of this current Test squad were part of the 2023 squad, with four players receiving their debut call-ups to the Test squad.

Paul Stirling will captain the side as Ireland takes a step closer in its preparations for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India / Sri Lanka.

Tim Tector comes back into the T20I squad, while Ben Calitz retains his place after featuring in his debut for Ireland in the 3rd T20I of the recently completed England series at Malahide.

The tour will begin with the first Test in Sylhet from 11–15 November, followed by the second Test in Dhaka from 19–23 November.

The action then shifts to the T20I series, starting with the first match in Chattogram on 27 November, the second T20I at the same venue on 29 November, and concluding with the third and final T20I in Dhaka on 2 December.
